Moto-Mower Company

History

In 1919 Colonel Edwin S. George founded the Moto-Mower Company in Detroit, Michigan. In 1953 the company was acquired by the Detroit Harvester Company.  In 1966, Detroit Harvester (now Dura) relocated its manufacturing from Richmond, Indiana to Cambridge, Ohio.  The company was absorbed into Dura in 1968.
