Our company began in 1906 with Bray Hardware. As the present owners and operators, Walter and Patricia Toole purchased the historic hardware store in 1983. Later, with Bill Asma, the Toole’s named additional stores including Hilltop in 1990, South Orange in 1995, Orlando in 2000, Groveland in 2007, Conway in 2010, Maitland in 2011, Colonial in 2013, Avalon in 2014, Oviedo in 2017, and Winter Park in 2020; bringing our total sales floor area to 110,000 sq ft.
The company concentrates its business in Central Florida, providing general hardware, as well as lawn and garden products. Stores serve individual customers and commercial accounts throughout the area. The owners came into business because of their interest in the industry and background in a similar business.
The company has adopted ACE Hardware’s motto, Get in. Get Help. Get on with your life. We consider it in almost everything we do. With positive, compounded double-digit annual growth since 1989, the company is distinguished in the community and industry.
