Oakdale is the gateway to the Sierra’s and the spectacular Yosemite National Park, destinations that see numerous travelers from all over the world. Many tour buses pass through and will stop at a local grocery store, giving travelers from foreign countries a definite taste of our local culture.
At a grocery store, you might see a bus of Japanese tourists in awe of our wonderful selection of fruits, and vegetables, keeping their eyes on the front door in hopes of seeing a ‘real cowboy’, and they won’t be disappointed.
