Florida Coast Equipment founded by Dennis Davis and incorporated in January 1985. Operations commenced soon after with Yanmar and Massey Ferguson Tractors. Starting with two employees, our facility on Military Trail had two bays and a small office, which included a parts display area. The journey began just in time for the Spring selling season. We got off to a great start and after about six months, we were able to add a 3rd employee to help with sales and administration. The pieces were falling into place and our dream was taking shape.
In 1989, Florida Coast Equipment was offered a chance to take over the facility of Broward-Palm Beach Tractor, a former John Deere Dealer. Moving to a bona fide facility gave us the respect and sense of permanence that we had been working towards. This opportunity opened the door for Florida Coast Equipment to become the newest Kubota dealer in the South East.
