Travis Resmondo Sod

What is now Travis Resmondo Sod, Inc. began nearly 74 years ago when the Resmondo family acquired a five acre tract of land where the Miami airport now resides. This was where the Resmondo Sod farm evolved. By 1971, the Resmondo Sod Farm grew to become the largest sod production farm in the Everglades. Then in 1987, the decision was made to relocate and expand the business into the Central Florida area to better service the growing industry. The Resmondo family leased 972 acres along the fertile shores of Lake Kissimmee. Through honesty, hard work, and a great customer following, they grew into one of Florida’s finest turfgrass farms.
