The company was started in 1956 by Albert Meisenzahl, who focused on the sharpening and repairing of hand and power reels. Following Albert’s death in 1969, his son Peter took over, and by 1984, Titus Mower had grown into Rochester’s leading source for the service and sales of outdoor power equipment, with the help of Peter’s wife Annette, their daughter Lynn, and grandson Jason.
