This location was formerly known as Lappan’s of Gaylord. Lappan’s got its start in 1976 as a one-man landscaping business. Two years later, Jim and Barb Lappan purchased land on Old 27 South and in the following year built a full-service nursery, landscape, irrigation, and hardscape facility. Lappan’s grew again in 1982 when they added John Deere equipment to their lot. Lappan’s became a part of Hutson, Inc in Feburary of 2022.
We’re proud to serve our surrounding community south of the Mackinac Bridge including Emmet, Cheboygan, Charlevoix, Otsego, Montmorency, Antrim, Kalkaska, Crawford, Otsego, and Roscommon counties.
