In 1958, Sam and Anna Hudson along with their sons, Howard and Leigh, came to Garner, NC to open Hudson’s Hardware & Grocery. The business today is now known as Hudson’s Hardware & Outdoor Equipment. In 1985 Leigh and his wife, Pug, opened a second location in Clayton, NC 1985.
Outdoor Power Equipment was added to Hudson’s Hardware selection in 1979 with the addition of ECHO weed trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws. Our large showroom now features a variety of quality brands like TORO, Stihl, Husqvarna, Wright, Walker, Little Wonder, and Billy Goat. We are authorized parts and warranty servicing dealers on the above brands as well as Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, and Kawasaki engines. Our OPE department offers knowledgeable and experienced sales, parts, and repair personnel.
