Guptill’s Logging Supplies

Lyle (Chi) Guptill formed Guptills Logging in 1977. Lyle Guptill’s first John Deere Skidder (440C) purchase in 1977 launched him into the logging business. This machine is so dear to him that it is the ONLY one he keeps inside. Lyle’s interest in logging developed, and in 1980, he established Guptill’s Logging Supply in East Machias, Maine, in the same location where the business is now located. This location houses their retail company, which sells forestry supplies, chain saws, truck and equipment components, and lawn and garden equipment.
