Established in 1968 by Arthur Emerich Jr. and Anna Mae Emerich, Emerich Sales & Service originally sold Alloutte snowmobiles.
In 1972, the business expanded with a new building and began selling lawn & garden outdoor power equipment products from brands including Echo, Snapper and Wheel Horse. Emerich Sales & Service continued to grow through the 70’s and 80’s and in 1995, Kevin Emerich, the son of Arthur and Anna, took full ownership of the family business.
Since then, we have continued to further establish ourselves as a fixture in the Capital Region. Emerich Sales & Service now carries a countless number of lawn & garden and outdoor power equipment brands like Cub Cadet, Kubota, Toro, Husqvarna and Echo. We’ve also continued to expand in that time, opening our Fort Edward location in 2012 and our Melrose location in 2016.
