Operating out of a tiny, one-room store front, PDQ began selling basic masonry supplies such as mortar mix, rebar, angle iron, wall-ties, hand tools, wheelbarrows and brick saws. The store also offered customers revolving credit accounts and delivery to any site within the DFW area. The store relocated several times over the next two decades, each time to newer and larger facilities and as each venue increased in size. The product line variety increased as well to include materials equally beneficial to commercial landscapers, homeowners and city entities. We agree, companies don’t usually change their name after twenty years of steady growth, but as time progressed for PDQ and the store grew, the original name of the store grew more misleading too so the name Caprock Hardscape was chosen to help reflect those changes.
