Bill and Betsy Bailes started Bill’s Tractor on a 50 acre farm close to San Antonio, TX, which could not be seen from any highway or road. The year was 1984 and there were no employees, only a mobile home, log cabin and windmill. They started with one small 9N Ford tractor, 3 or 4 implements, a utility trailer and a 1/2 ton pickup.
