Founded in 1966 by the McDaniel family and originally named “Coast to Coast Hardware”, in 1992, they decided to join forces with the Do-It Best Corporation, which allowed the McDaniel’s to leverage the buying power of thousands of Do-It Best stores nationwide and remain competitive against the growing “Big Box” trend.
