Back in 1985 JR, at the age of 16 started his first company called Jr’s Small Landscaping World. What started out with just mowing yards, within a few years grew into a company with around 20 employees.
By 1989 the company was doing lawn maintenance, landscaping, irrigation and fencing. In 1990 JR changed the name to Landscaping by JR and opened another company called Professional Tree Service.
By 1992 JR found he was not satisfied with any of the places he was buying and having his equipment serviced. So August 15th 1992 JR opened a small company he would call OUTDOOR WORLD. With a lot Of hard work and many years of running 3 companies OUTDOOR WORLD would finally become bigger than JR had ever dreamed. In 1997 JR sold Landscaping by JR so he could focus on growing OUTDOOR WORLD into what it is today. OUTDOOR WORLD is now one of the largest dealers in the country. Specializing in Zero Turn Lawn Mowers and the most addicting customer service in the industry. OUTDOOR WORLD continues to grow year after year.
