Begun as East Texas Poultry Supply in the late 1950’s by John Alvis Howard and company, the business grew to meet the demands of a rapidly expanding poultry industry in East Texas. Eventually, East Texas Poultry became a full line Ace Hardware store, catering to the community at large as well as poultry farmers.
