TriGreen Equipment in Cookeville was originally known as Putnam Farm & Home, a locally-owned family business run by Lowell Smith and his son Jim. After his father retired, Jim took over the business and ran it for many years, eventually selling the dealership to TriGreen Equipment in 2007.
