Our History
In 1968, brothers Carl Woodard and EB Woodard established Lebanon Distributing Co Inc in a small, rented building located at 1400 West Main Street in Lebanon, Tennessee.
On July 1, 1969, while still serving in the US Air Force, Richard Woodard (son of Carl Woodard) attained 5/18 interest in Lebanon Distributing Co Inc.
Richard Woodard was discharged from the US Air Force on March 20, 1970 and reported for duty the very next day at Lebanon Distributing Co Inc on March 21, 1970.
On July 1, 1971, Lebanon Distributing Co Inc moved to a new, company-owned building at 804 Carthage Hwy Lebanon, Tennessee.
In 1981, Richard Woodard and Carl Woodard purchased EB Woodard’s 4/9 interest of Lebanon Distributing Co Inc.
In 1985, Richard Woodard purchased Carl Woodard’s interest in Lebanon Distributing Co Inc.
In 2003, Lee Pettross (nephew of Richard Woodard) purchased some interest in Lebanon Distributing Co Inc to form a new partnership.
