Lusby Motor Company (Lusby Hardware) was founded in 1921 at its present location of 155 Main Street in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Four generations of the Lusby family have worked at the store. Starting out as a car garage, Lusby Motor Company evolved into a hardware and farm supply store in the 1930’s. Cars, trucks, and agriculture equipment were added shortly thereafter. We are the oldest continually operating store in Calvert County, Maryland.
John Deere and Toro headline our equipment product lines. We carry John Deere 1 Series through 5E Series tractors, Gators, zero turn mowers, and riding mowers; Toro turf maintenance equipment, zero turn and walk behind mowers and snow blowers; the full line of STIHL products, including the lithium ion; Scag commercial and residential mowers, A&B Eagleline tractor rear attachments; Trac Vac and Monster leaf vacuums; Little Wonder, and Blue Bird products; and Carry-On trailers.
