Cappel’s Ace Hardware in Norwalk is a locally owned, locally operated helpful hardware store. Our roots can be traced to Ivan Cappel, who opened his John Deere dealership in Atlantic, Iowa in 1944. He, along with his two sons, Dick and Tom, transformed that business into Cappel’s Ace Hardware in 1968. Cappel’s Ace Hardware in Norwalk was opened in 2016 by Dick’s son Doug and his wife Jennifer, with the goal of carrying on the tradition of providing helpful service and selling quality merchandise that Ivan Cappel started over 75 years ago.
