Our founders Gerald and Barbara Burkhard founded the company in 1970. They packed up their family and belongings in Michigan and headed south with faith in their abilities to make their dream of owning a successful business come true. Owners Richard and Doug have been working in the family business for more than 30 years. They learned the business, along with their parents and now they have succeeded in becoming the new owners of Burkhard’s Tractor.
